Oct 2, 2023 · While investigating shudder in my transmission (acceleration in corners) they looked at my CVT fluid and found metallic particles in it so they changed my entire transmission. While the vibration can be annoying, it is often indicative of a serious problem. I had the same issue and well, I replaced both CV axles and control arms and that got rid of 90% of it and then the 2 CVT changes ( i used cheap castrol cvt first then after 6000 miles i flushed with amsoil) and now im 99% vibration free on accel. Now the vibration is only on acceleration when the wheel is turned. As background the car has had one drive shaft replaced - the longer one after the original simply snapped off at the gear box side.
